Notice of Cancellation of 2025 Mind in Vitro REU Program

We regret to inform all interested students that the Mind in Vitro Summer Research Program will not be running in 2025.

We have made this difficult decision to cancel because NSF was not able to provide an REU supplement for the program in the summer of 2025.   NSF had supported REU students for Mind in Vitro in the past three summers.

We understand the disappointment this news may cause.  Although there is no project funding support, a few Mind in Vitro faculty may be able to accept summer research students in some capacity.  Interested students are encouraged to reach out to faculty individually.

The Siebel School of Computing will be running its weekly lunch and learn seminars.  Summer research program seminars are open and available for all interested undergraduates in a hybrid fashion, starting Thursday, May 29th, and continuing each following Tuesday during the summer.
